We are incredibly excited to announce new and expanded hours here at Junction City Local Aid. Starting the week right after Labor Day in September (2016), we’ll now be open every Thursday night and every Saturday!
Making our services more accessible and growing with community need has been a priority for a very long time, but it has taken some planning, strategy, and fundraising to get to a place where we could take the leap and expand our hours and program offerings.
With the addition of our new Social & Community Services Manager, Ann, we will be adjusting and expanding our hours starting September 7th:
- Tuesdays – 9 am – 1 pm
- Wednesdays – 9 am – 12 pm (noon)
- Thursdays – 9 am – 12 pm (noon) AND 6 pm – 8 pm
- Saturdays – 10 am – 12 pm (noon)
We will be open for monthly emergency food boxes, weekly food, and our other assistance programs during these office hours. With this expansion comes the need for more volunteers! We are working to build our evening and weekend teams in preparation for the changes.
